Stella Mae Johnson Porche’ was born on March 9, 1936 and departed this life on Tuesday, April 3, 2012 at Chateau De Notre Dame. She graduated from McDonough #35 Senior High School and a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church and Just Us Social and Pleasure Club. She also was employed by the Junior League of New Orleans Bloomin’ Deal Thift Shop and the Charbonnet family for 37 years. Daughter of the late Jesse James Johnson and Bernice Hall Davis. She leaves to cherish her memories, her Aunt, Louise Herbert. God-Mother of Lloyd Vaughn, Jr. and Kristie Armstrong. Also survived by the Charbonnet Family and a host of devoted family members and friends. A long life resident of New Orleans, LA. Relatives and friends of the family, also Priest and Parishioners of Our Lady Star of the Sea and Out Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church are invited to attend the Visitation on Saturday, April 14, 2012 at Our Lady Star of the Sea, 1835 St. Roch Avenue from 9:00 am until 11:00 am.
