Mary Watson

Mary Louise "Miss Mae" Watson, 88, a native of Terrebonne Parish and resident of Houma, died Thursday, April 5, 2012.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to funeral time Wednesday at The Greater Saint Matthews Baptist Church. Religious services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the church, with burial in Southdown Cemetery.

She is survived by one son, Willie Glaze Jr. of Houma; daughter, Joan C. Williams and husband, Ernest of Milwaukee, Wis.; and one grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Euyless Sr. and Ruth Jeff Watson Arnold; foster daughter, Mae Williams; brother, Euyless Watson Jr.; and grandparents, John and Lucinda Jeff.

She was a member of Greater St. Matthews Baptist Church. She was a retired Insurance Agent at Security Life Ins. Company and Standard Life Insurance Company.

Gertrude Geddes Willis-Terrebonne Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
